The Ladies Professional Wrestling Association
The Ladies Professional Wrestling Association is a well-established organisation, offering videos as well as public matches.
The LPWA was formed in 1989 and began presenting both live and televised events throughout the United States. The LPWA is the only all female professional wrestling association outside of the country of Japan.
The LPWA roster is a who's who of female professional wrestling. The current World Champion is TERRI POWER, the current Tag Team Title is vacant and the the current Japan Champion is HARLEY SAITO. The roster is sprinkled with veterans and newcomers with the likes of WENDI RICHTER [former WWF Champion], ROCKIN ROBIN [also former WWF Champion], REGGIE BENNETT [One of Japan's Superstars], the legendary SUSAN GREEN , the »bad girl« of the LPWA, DANGEROUS DENISE STORM, two former LPWA Champions Canadas LADY X and Australias SUSAN SEXTON and the wrestler many feel is the greatest of all time LEI LANI KAI. From Europe there is the exciting DESIREE PETERSEN and from Mexico comes LA GATA and ALMA ALVAREZ. Other wrestling favorites include BAMBI, MAGNIFICENT MIMI, MALIA HOSAKA and CANDI DIVINE [former AWA Champion]. The LPWA has now begun intergrating some of the best of the Japanese wrestlers into the association, in addition to HARLEY SAITO there is EAGLE SAWAI, SHINOBU KANDORI, MAMI KITAMURA, MIKI HANDA, YUKARI OSAWA, MITZUKI ENDOH and the legendary NORIYO TATENO.
